Pyrenees Vineyard & Cellars: A Taste of Northern Spain in the Umpqua Valley

Pyrenees Vineyard and Cellars is set against the South Umpqua River with 30 acres of lush grapes nestled against the foothills. The Apodaca's rich heritage from Northern Spain brings the Basque influence into the winery.  The Basque-style tasting room is cozy and the staff will welcome you like old friends and take you through their vast variety of wine selections.  On a warm day sit on the deck and enjoy the view of the mountains and river.  Pyrenees Vineyard and Cellars offers year round special events.  My husband and I enjoyed a summer evening at the vineyard sipping wine, enjoying sushi and dancing on the deck to a live band.
Weddings at Pyrenees often take place on the 150 foot deck that straddles the Umpqua River.

Weddings at Pyrenees ofen take place on the 150 foot deck that straddles the  Umpqua River.  Dick Calafato is the managing owner of the winery and has been quoted as the "modern day cupid."   He feels that it is possible to have an incredible and memorable wedding without breaking the bank.   Up to 200 guests can witness a couple tie the knot against a backdrop of grape vines or the tumbling Umpqua River. A case of personalized wine is included and the total cost is $500.
Come join us on March 5, 2011 for the 41st Greatest of the Grape at Seven Feathers Resort and Casino from 7 to 11 pm.  Pyrenees Vineyard along with Mark V Restaurant will entice your taste buds while I talk about the health benefits of wine!
See you there!
